Drawing Studio Class

During this foundational drawing course for all skill levels, each student will learn how to use a variety of art materials such as charcoal, graphite, pastels and colored pencils to explore emotions, typography, mathematical concepts, contour lines, and pictographs. Weekly class sessions will include time for free draw, a featured artist appreciation, live demonstrations, creation of independent work and a gallery walk to analyze work on display.

Each student will work on projects such as character sketches, geometric shape studies, symmetrical animal designs, rug patterns, abstract landscapes and a contemporary illuminated letter.

All of the materials, supplies and instruction are included in registration.
